They lost all my original pay stubs, which I send as proof of loss of income, and then told me that I had to send that proof again and without it, the case would be dismissed. We had an order from the judge that the case had to be closed or the company fined because of the duration, which led them to accept a ridiculously low comparative figure before the defendant had even seen my medical report. that I was told I had to pay with my billing amount!! Liability was accepted by the defendant at the beginning of this claim and was valued at £20,000+ but only charged at £5,000, and I was threatened that if I decided not to accept, the insurance would not cover my costs and I would be charged for the full costs incurred over the 5 years.
